The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) Business Partner to join our Carwarp Almond Processing Plant. This is a site‑based role that partners closely with operational and functional leaders to embed strong safety, health, environmental and quality practices across the Carwarp site, including the Almond Processing Facility, Stockpads and Biochar unit. The role also provides support to other sites as required. This position reports to the Head of Almond Processing Operations and plays a critical role in shaping safety culture, strengthening leadership capability, and ensuring compliance with legislative and corporate SHEQ standards. Key Responsibilities: The SHEQ Business Partner is responsible for: Partnering with leaders to embed effective SHEQ risk management and continuous improvement across operations Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, environmental regulations and ofi global SHEQ standards Leading and supporting incident reporting, investigations and corrective action management Driving safety culture through engagement, coaching, training and leadership development Managing and continuously improving safety management systems, data and reporting Overseeing contractor safety management, inductions and compliance Supporting emergency preparedness, drills and response capability Leading SHEQ reporting, trend analysis and performance improvement initiatives Our Ideal Candidate: You will be a confident, proactive safety professional who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level. You enjoy working closely with leaders, influencing outcomes and building practical, fit‑for‑purpose systems that work in a processing environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate: Minimum 5 years’ experience in WHS or SHEQ roles within manufacturing, processing or similar high‑risk environments Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety management systems (experience with MYOSH or similar systems preferred) Proven experience leading or supporting incident investigations (ICAM or equivalent) Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills A practical, solutions‑focused mindset with a strong safety and sustainability mindset Relevant qualifications in Work Health & Safety (Diploma or higher essential) Why Join ofi?
