Why This Role Matters The Practice Manager is a Leader of Others, focused on the practical delivery of operational priorities within their clinic. While strategic direction is set by operational leaders, this role ensures those priorities are implemented effectively at the clinic level. It involves coordinating day-to-day operations, leading a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining a strong focus on patient experience, compliance, and financial performance. Your Key Focus Areas The role requires balancing competing demands — patient care, workflow efficiency, and team engagement while fostering collaboration between clinical and clerical teams. Success depends on clear communication, problem-solving, and the ability to guide the teams through change with a positive, growth-oriented mindset. The Practice Manager leads by example, translating organisational expectations into practical actions that create a safe, professional, and high-performing clinic environment. Inspire and develop your team, fostering collaboration, accountability and a strong service ethos. Grow and maintain strong referrer partnerships, acting as a trusted representative of Qscan in the community. Drive operational excellence, streamlining processes and maximising resource utilisation. Champion safety and compliance, ensuring the clinic meets Qscan’s high standards for WHS and care. Balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in daily operations, including clerical and patient-facing duties. What We’re Looking For Proven leadership experience in healthcare, with a track record of managing people, performance, and priorities. Strong understanding of Medicare (radiology experience highly valued). Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills with a patient-first mindset. Commercial acumen, operational savvy, and the ability to identify and act on opportunities for growth. Proficiency with clinical systems, reporting tools and digital workflows.
