Play a pivotal role in Jetstar’s Workforce Planning team Full Time | 7 Day Rotating Roster | Located in the Melbourne CBD 12 Month Parental leave fixed-term Contract Jetstar’s Airport Services team are nothing less than the nerve centre of our airline. All of our team members within our Airport Services team play a critical role in managing the logistics compliance and safety relating to daily movements of our aircraft, team members and passengers. As the Workforce Planning Officer , you will build Airport Services front of house (FOH) rosters and manage resourcing allocation through to port handover. You will be responsible for constructing and finalising roster plans created by the using workforce planning tools, systems, processes, and methodology. Once published, the role will optimise resources by ensuring standards and compliance with all applicable regulations, policies in the Operation Manual (OM), and employment agreements and contracts. You will also provide support to the Resource Optimisation and Quality Lead with ad hoc data and WFP planning requests. You’ll Have: To be considered for this role, ideally you will have: Extensive experience and knowledge of airline operations and/or aviation legislation Competencies capability for resource allocation planning, based on a logical mindset and an ability to apply that logic practically. Strong stakeholder management and an understanding of the airline's EBA's and policy and procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Groundstar applications (desirable). Ability to use initiative and possess a strong attention to details. Demonstrated problem solving skills and commitment to Safety. Preferred Degree or relevant airline experience.
