Occupational Therapist - Grade 3 Senior Clinician Royal Melbourne Hospital Provide excellent clinical assessment and therapy for patients in trauma and surgical services. Flexible roster (including weekends) in our supportive and collaborative Occupational Therapy team. Part time (0.63EFT) fixed term until 25th March 2027. Your New Role The OT surgical stream provides clinical services to surgical and trauma units. Provide excellent, evidence based and patient centred care including assessment, intervention and discharge planning for patients in the acute hospital wards. Supervise and educate junior and developing occupational therapists, allied health assistants and occupational therapy students. Demonstrate excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff and relevant services in order to provide appropriate services, information and leadership. Contribute to the 7-day service to trauma unit About You An acute hospital experience with a collaborative leadership style. Excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others. An AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist dedicated to providing evidence-based practice. You value working with supportive and dedicated Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary teams.
