Mechanical Fitters | Yatala | TBM Rebuild Project | OT Available We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a specialised team based in Yatala , working on the refurbishment of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) . This is a unique opportunity to be involved in large-scale equipment rebuilds with ongoing work and overtime available. About the Role Based in Yatala Current hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Project ramp-up expected to 10-hour days in coming months Ongoing work with strong pipeline Opportunity to work on large, complex machinery Pay Rates Competitive hourly rates – TBC (based on experience) Overtime paid at penalty rates Scope of Work Refurbishment of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) Disassembly and reassembly of mechanical components Manufacturing and modification of parts as required Testing and commissioning of equipment Completing reports and documentation Working collaboratively within a team environment To Be Successful, You Will Need Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter Strong experience in heavy mechanical maintenance or rebuilds Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience working on large-scale machinery (highly regarded) Current driver’s licence and reliable transport Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test Highly Regarded Experience with mining, tunnelling, or heavy industrial equipment Confined Space / Working at Heights Forklift or EWP licence What’s on Offer Ongoing work with long-term potential Opportunity for extended hours (10hr days) Work on specialised, high-value equipment Supportive team and structured environment Immediate start available Apply Now If you’re a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for your next challenge, click Apply Now or submit your resume today.
