General Labourer & Operator Roster: Monday to Friday – 7:30am - 3:30pm Location: Pinkenba, Brisbane QLD Duties & Responsibilities General Labourer: Accurately complete all required paperwork and reporting in line with site procedures Prepare plant, equipment, and work areas for operations as required Perform manual cleaning duties, including pressure washing concrete surfaces and plant Clean and maintain machinery such as excavators, loaders, and associated equipment Clean operational equipment including cardboard balers and surrounding work areas Carry out cleaning of processed materials (e.g. cardboard and glass loads) as required Maintain cleanliness of internal work areas and external site areas to a high standard Operator: Operate the de‑packaging plant in line with site procedures and safety requirements Use a front‑end loader to feed material into the plant as required Operate a forklift to empty bins and move materials around the site Perform general machine operation as needed across the site Clean and maintain machinery, including the fixed organics plant Conduct regular yard and plant housekeeping, including water blasting floors and cleaning work areas Support efficient plant operations by assisting with loading, unloading, and processing tasks Skills & Experience Current Drivers License (Essential) Forklift License, Front-End Loader (Desirable) Strong commitment to safety and compliance Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Self‑motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team About the company Category 5 Labour Management is an Australian owned success story, a leading provider of full-service labour management solutions, supporting the local communities in which we operate and the people within them.
