Attractive 6 Figure Salary Package National Food Company Perth Based Role Our client is one of Australia's first and foremost suppliers to the Restaurant, Hotel QSR, Entertainment and Catering industries that sell their products all over the country. As an established National company they are now looking to compliment there Perth branch with an experienced Operations Supervisor. The successful candidate is responsible for the daily coordination and supervision of the driver team to ensure the safe, timely and efficient delivery and collection of company products. The role ensures that operational targets are met, compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements is maintained, and a strong safety culture is upheld. The role also focuses on maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, staff supervision, and operational efficiency, while contributing to the organisation's goals and values. Key Responsibilities Operations & Logistics: Manage driver schedules, including the onboarding and integration of new customers into existing runs and systems. Monitor and maintain high presentation standards for all vehicles, assets, and staff. Ensure all vehicle maintenance, repairs and servicing are completed on schedule and to a high standard. Coordinate and respond to customer communications and queries in a professional and timely manner. Ensure accurate and timely record keeping in line with operational requirements. Maximise efficiency and performance of runs through effective scheduling using company-preferred systems and tools. Prepare and present relevant operational data and documentation for internal meetings. Ensure ongoing compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture across personnel and fleet. Provide outstanding customer service, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly. Ensure the completion of all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, including OHS audits. Conduct or assist with driver runs, installations, and swap overs as needed. Continuously seek and implement efficiency improvements within the business. Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Provide high-quality service to all customers, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of issues. Communicate effectively with customers, management, and drivers via phone and email. Take a proactive approach to resolving service issues and managing expectations. People Leadership & Staff Management: Supervise, support, and develop a team of drivers, providing direction, coaching, and daily oversight. Set individual KPI's and conduct regular performance reviews in line with the company performance management program. Lead staff training, onboarding and ongoing development, including documented driver refresher training as required. Step in to perform deliveries/collections, installs or swap-overs when operationally required. This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to work for a leading national organisation.
