Opportunity A nationally recognised Tier 1 builder is seeking a reliable and proactive Skilled Labourer / Logistics Coordinator to join a high-end $15M multi-level commercial build in Melbourne’s CBD. This is a 24-week guaranteed contract role, offering the chance to work on a flagship Collins Street project while gaining exposure to top-tier systems, processes, and site teams. This role is ideal for a switched-on operator who can combine hands-on labouring with site logistics and coordination, playing a key part in keeping the project running safely, efficiently, and on program. The Role Manage site logistics including material movement, deliveries, and storage Liaise daily with site management, subcontractors, and key stakeholders Support site operations to ensure trades can work efficiently and safely Assist with general skilled labouring duties across the build Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant site environment Stay on top of day-to-day tasks to keep the project running smoothly Requirements Previous experience as a Skilled Labourer on commercial construction projects Strong understanding of site logistics and material coordination Ability to communicate effectively with site teams and subcontractors Proactive, reliable, and takes ownership of tasks White Card (essential) Experience on large-scale or CBD projects highly regarded What’s On Offer 6-month guaranteed contract on a high-profile CBD build Work with a Tier 1 contractor on a premium commercial project Strong site support and structured team environment Opportunity to grow and develop within a top-tier builder Potential for ongoing work on future projects This is a great opportunity for a motivated labourer to step into a hybrid role with more responsibility and career progression.
