Job details $55 p/hour penalties $21.94 daily travel ASAP start Banyo Location About Our Client Our client is a well-established construction and engineering company delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across Queensland and New South Wales. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, they specialise in a diverse range of sectors including roads, rail, water, aviation, mining, and urban development. They are looking for a qualified carpenter to joint their team in Banyo. What You Will Be Doing: As a Carpenter you will be required to work 8-9 hour days, Monday-Friday, 6:30AM starts. Your duties will include; Set out wall, floor, and roof framing from plans Measure, cut, and assemble timber components Install wall frames, floor joists, bearers, and roof trusses/rafters Ensure framing is plumb, level, and square Install structural bracing and tie-downs Fix plywood/OSB sheathing where required Coordinate framing around openings (doors, windows, services) Install roof and wall sarking/insulation prior to sheeting Measure and cut metal sheets to size Fix roof sheeting, wall cladding, and flashings Install ridge caps, barge flashings, gutters, and downpipes (as required) Ensure correct overlaps, fixings, and sealing to prevent leaks What You Will Need: Drivers Licence reliable transport Construction White Card Trade Certificate Own tools (the basics) Previous experience completing the above duties What s in it for you?
