We’re partnering with a growing business that combines an established B2B events operation with a newer digital platform designed to build an ongoing professional community. They already have strong industry relationships and a global footprint, and are now focused on creating a more consistent, year-round engagement model through a subscription-based platform. They’re looking for a Marketing & Growth Lead to help bring this to life. The Role This is a hands-on role working closely with the founders to build and scale how the business grows across both the events side and the digital platform. You’ll be responsible for improving how people find, engage with and stay within the ecosystem — not just running campaigns, but shaping how growth works end-to-end. Your focus will include: Driving user and member growth across both the platform and events business Improving onboarding, engagement and retention Increasing conversion from free users to paid offerings Building and refining lifecycle marketing and CRM processes (HubSpot) Managing website performance, content and digital channels Supporting event marketing, partnerships and sponsor visibility Working across product, sales and operations to improve overall growth performance What We’re Looking For This role will suit someone who enjoys building and improving systems, rather than maintaining what already exists. You might currently be a Growth Lead, Senior Growth Manager or Product Marketing Lead in a SaaS, subscription or platform-based business. We’re looking for someone who: Has experience in SaaS, subscription or digital platform environments Understands how to improve onboarding, engagement and retention Has worked with growth metrics such as conversion, churn or lifetime value Is comfortable taking ownership of outcomes, not just activity Has hands-on experience with CRM and lifecycle marketing (HubSpot preferred) Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment Has full Australian working rights with no restrictions (sorry we are not able to sponsor) Experience with community-based products, marketplaces, or event-related businesses would be beneficial but not essential.
