About the Role: As the Care Manager, you will take full ownership of clinical operations within the home, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, compliant, and resident-centred care. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong clinical standards, supporting the team, and driving positive outcomes for residents through effective leadership and oversight. A key focus of the role will be leading and supporting accreditation readiness, strengthening clinical governance frameworks, and identifying opportunities to enhance care delivery and operational performance. Key Responsibilities: Provide strong clinical leadership and day-to-day oversight of care delivery. Lead and support accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with aged care standards. Oversee care planning, assessments, and clinical documentation. Support and mentor nursing and care staff to drive best practice and accountability. Manage clinical risks, incidents, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance care outcomes. Identify opportunities for improvement and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the service. What We’re Looking For: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential). Proven experience as a Care Manager or Clinical Care Coordinator within aged care. Strong accreditation experience – must be confident leading and supporting this process. Ability to step into a role with minimal onboarding and operate autonomously. A proactive, positive “can-do” attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
