The Role: Environmental Services Technician In this multifaceted role, you will provide essential field support across all business sectors, with a primary focus on the landfill services sector. You will report directly to the QLD Regional Manager and work closely with the team to ensure project compliance and efficiency. While experience on landfill sites is a plus, Ennovo prioritises a positive attitude and a willingness to learn their technology-first approach. Key Responsibilities: Your daily activities will be diverse and hands-on, including: Monitoring and balancing landfill gas (LFG) systems. Performing servicing and maintenance on leachate pumps and flares. Conducting environmental monitoring and sampling for compost and recycled products. Assisting with the compilation of field data and technical reports. Ensuring all work meets client requirements and Ennovo’s high safety standards. Skills and Experience: To be successful in this position, you will need a blend of technical aptitude and interpersonal skills: Field Expertise: Excellent field monitoring skills and a sound understanding of landfill management equipment. Adaptability: The ability to grasp new concepts quickly and solve problems both independently and as part of a team. Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for data reporting and team collaboration. Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting purposes. Logistics: A valid manual driver’s licence and the ability to travel intra- and interstate as required. Compliance: Must be able to comply with police checks and drug testing requirements.
