Your New Role This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the roofing industry and undertake an apprenticeship in Metal Roofing and Roof Plumbing . Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will assist with the installation, repair and maintenance of metal roofing systems and rainwater goods across both residential and commercial roofing projects. You will gain practical, hands-on experience across all aspects of roofing installation while developing the skills required to become a qualified tradesperson. Key Responsibilities Metal Roofing Assist with installing Colorbond and other metal roofing sheets - Assist with installing battens, safety wire and roof insulation - Support the installation of ridge caps and associated roofing components - Assist tradespeople with roofing works on residential and commercial buildings Roof Plumbing Assist with installing fascia, gutters and downpipes - Support fabrication and installation of flashings and roofing drainage components - Assist with installing rain heads and stormwater drainage systems - Maintain a safe and organised worksite Project Scope The company completes both commercial and residential roofing projects, including: Installation of battens, safety wire, insulation and roof sheeting - Installation of fascia, gutters and downpipes - Installation of all associated flashing works - New construction projects - Re-roofing and roof replacement works Your Profile To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable and hardworking individual who is keen to learn a trade and build a long-term career in the roofing industry.
