Spinifex Recruiting is working with a local council to source a reliable and detail‑focused Weighbridge Assistant to support operations on a short‑term contract. This is a part‑time administration role suited to someone with strong attention to detail, confidence dealing with the public, and the ability to work within a structured, compliance‑focused environment. About the Role Working on‑site at a council facility, the Weighbridge Assistant will provide administrative and customer service support, ensuring accurate recording of weighbridge data and assisting with day‑to‑day operational requirements. Key responsibilities include: Operating the weighbridge system and recording vehicle weights Entering data accurately into internal systems Customer service to contractors and members of the public Issuing dockets and receipts Answering basic enquiries in person and via phone Maintaining clear and accurate records Supporting site staff with general administration tasks Adhering to council policies, procedures, and safety requirements About You You are organised, dependable, and comfortable working in a customer‑facing environment. You take pride in accuracy, follow procedures closely, and can manage routine tasks consistently. You will bring: Previous administration or customer service experience Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Basic computer skills and confidence using systems Clear communication skills Ability to work independently within set processes Availability to work 4 days per week, 10:00am-3:00pm Construction Industion White Card Experience in a council, waste, or operational environment will be well regarded but is not essential. This role required a Pre-Employment Medical assessment, along with a Drug & Alcohol Screening.
