The Swans Restaurant & Function House is a well-established hospitality venue in Henley Brook, WA. We are known for our high-quality food and excellent customer service. We are looking for an experienced Cook to work in our restaurant. The position offered is permanent full-time position and the cook will be required to work late evenings, weekends and public holiday. The successful applicant should hold qualification in commercial Cookery and have at least 1 year relevant work experience. You should be an outstanding team player, helpful, reliable and has the skill set and experience to perform the following duties: The duties and responsibilities for the position of Cook. - Examine and select fresh ingredients to maintain quality and authenticity of Lebanese cuisine - Prepare and cook dishes such as mezze, charcoal meats, shawarma, and mixed grills - Operate and regulate grills, charcoal ovens, and other kitchen equipment - Marinate and season food using traditional Lebanese herbs and spices - Portion and present meals for dine-in, takeaway, and buffet service - Store food safely in temperature-controlled facilities and follow food safety standards - Prepare food for dietary requirements including halal and vegetarian options - Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work areas - Assist with stock control, food preparation, and support junior staff Location: 10481 W Swan Rd, Perth Western Australia 6055 Base Annual Salary $70,000.00 to 80,000.00 plus superannuation based on experience and skill set.
