Partner with heads of asset classes to uplift investment risk maturity Leading Australian fund manager Sydney or Melbourne CBD | Flexible working ABOUT THE COMPANY AND ROLE An excellent opportunity for an experienced Risk Manager - Funds Management has become available at our client, a large Australian fund manager, experiencing a massive period of growth and transformation. If successful you will work in close partnership with the Head of Investment Risk and provide oversight for investment activities as well as provide strategic and constructive risk and compliance advice and support to the investment teams, and broader business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and monitor adherence to the firm's enterprise risk management framework and applicable regulatory obligations and undertake cyclical risk management activities for the Investments business, including material risk, KRI assessments and oversight of control self-assessments and attestations; Manage policies and systems to mitigate investment-related risks, including valuation, liquidity, counterparty, market, operational, and ESG risks; Conduct a broad range of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting across enterprise and operational risks as well as investment risks (market, liquidity and counterparty risks); Maintain compliance obligations register relating to investment activities and monitor regulatory change and oversee the Investment Governance framework and compliance with SPS 530; AND Implement focused assurance programs to provide risk and regulatory insights that are ongoing across public and private markets.
