Your new company Client is an established, well respected and specialist project management consultancy. As result of continued growth, they are looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager to join their business Your new role The role is a traditional client-side role. As Assistant PM will be either delivering smaller projects yourself or supporting Senior staff as 2ic on their projects. The client works end to end - so working alongside variety of clients to manage their projects from inception right through to project delivery. Providing technical leadership from planning, design, approvals, procurement and right through to management of main contractors as a super's rep through to project completion. The client has varied client base covering public sector projects in education and health care as well as private developers in residential, industrial, aged care and retail space. The role is client facing, so requires an effective positive, proactive communication style. What you'll need to succeed The client is looking for an experienced client-side candidate. So to be considered, candidates must have worked in a client-side PM role looking after built assets for at least 1-2 years. It is not an entry level role and not one where can really look at transferable skills. Candidates must have be tertiary qualified in a construction related discipline, so ideally architecture, quantity surveying or construction management. The role is build as opposed to civils, so not suited to civil engineers What you'll get in return Client looking for an asap start for the suitable candidate. The company has a mature and sensible office-based environment. They value face to face collaboration and don't really offer wfh. Suggest salary level in the 95-105k range for APM depending on the level of experience.
