About the Position: Ocean2Earth are seeking Labourer’s with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic to join us on a casual basis. These roles will support Ocean2Earth’s operations by assisting with the removal of waste from the Eden Chip Mill allowing for this to be transformed into our product. We are offering a competitive hourly rate and are looking for candidates who are available to pick up shifts on a casual basis, typically starting at 10:00am. Key Responsibilities include: The shoveling, sweeping, raking loading and unloading of mill waste. Prioritizing time and plant to remove waste from mill site. Plant and truck pre-starts for safe operations. General manual handling duties. Working together with other people to complete waste removal in an efficient manner. To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in labouring or in a production environment is highly desirable. A background in manual handling work is preferred. A positive attitude at work, whilst being reliable and punctual. The ability to work effectively within a team environment and produce work to a high standard. A strong commitment to safety is essential. Experience in operating a telehandler or small excavator is not essential but may be beneficial.
