Registered Nurse — Gippsland (Part-Time/Fulltime) Location: Yarram, VIC 3971 · Start: Immediately · Employment: Permanent · Business Type: Health District / Area Health Service About the Role We are seeking compassionate, adaptable Registered Nurses across graduate to senior levels to join community-based health services in Yarram and surrounding Gippsland areas. This role provides clinical care across general medical, aged care and community settings, with opportunities for field-based practice, case management and multidisciplinary collaboration. Successful candidates will work within a supportive district health framework delivering safe, person-centred care to rural and regional populations. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care in community, home-based and facility settings for older adults and patients with complex, long-term conditions. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions consistent with best practice guidelines and organisational policies. Provide wound management, medication administration, chronic disease management support and palliative care as required. Coordinate care with allied health professionals, GPs and community services to support continuity and transitions of care. Support patient and family education, health promotion and self-management strategies tailored to individual needs. Contribute to clinical documentation, incident reporting and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. Participate in on-call rotations, outreach clinics and mobile service delivery as part of community nursing programs. Who We’re Looking For Registered Nurse with General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Australian citizen or permanent resident eligible to work in Australia. Clinical experience in general medical, aged care or community nursing settings; new graduates with strong clinical skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strengths-based approach to client care and community engagement. Ability to work autonomously in field settings and as part of a multidisciplinary team across a rural health district. Valid driver’s licence and readiness to travel within the district for home visits and outreach clinics.
