About this Position: The Field supervisor Trades leads teams responsible for operating and maintaining water, wastewater and treatment infrastructure. This position will ensure all work meets safety, quality and project standards while providing guidance, training and hands on support. The role combines strong leadership and practical expertise, stepping in on the ground when needed to model best practice and uphold high performance across all operations. Implement and monitor quality control procedures, conduct regular inspections and ensure that all work meets project specifications and regulatory requirements. provide guidance to team members on quality best practises and take corrective action when standards are not met ensuring consistent delivery of high quality results. Oversee and guide the trades team in preventative and reactive maintenance tasks operations and the maintenance of water and wastewater network assets. Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality and safety standards and supervise contractors as required. Strategically manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment. and materials to optimise efficiency and productivity. Ensure that all resources are used effectively to meet project deadlines and budgetary constraints. Implement and enforce strict safety protocols in high-risk environments. Conduct regular safety audits, ensure all team members and contractors are fully trained in safety practices and respond swiftly to any safety concerns. Lead by example maintaining a culture of safety and compliance.
