The Role As a Steward, you will be responsible for prepping ingredients to assist the outlets and banqueting as required. You will be responsible for ensuring workstations are cleaned, examine freshness and quality of ingredients and communicate with the CDP of your section to determine the prep to be done for the day. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of the kitchen. Talent Profile Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen by cleaning equipment, surfaces, storage areas, hoods, filters, fridges, freezers, floors, walls, drains, and ceilings. Follow all HACCP and sanitation guidelines. Dish & Equipment Maintenance: Wash and sanitize pots, pans, dishes, utensils using machines or handwashing (three-sink method); de-stain china and cutlery; clean coffee urns and ice machines. Support Kitchen Operations: Prepare buffet and banquet equipment (e.g., chafing dishes, carving stations); clear bussing areas and remove crates/drums regularly. Routine Tasks: Follow scheduled duties from supervisors, work efficiently with minimal supervision, and anticipate kitchen needs proactively. Equipment Handling: Collect and clean non-standard kitchen equipment as needed; maintain storage areas for such equipment. Benefits Discounted staff parking.
