About the Role As a Personal Care Worker, you will provide direct care and support to residents in a safe, respectful and culturally inclusive manner. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver care that reflects each residents' individual needs, preferences and life story. Key Duties & Responsibilities Assisting residents with personal care and activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing, toileting and mobility. Supporting residents to maintain independence, dignity and quality of life. Observing, documenting and reporting changes in wellbeing or condition. Assisting with meals, hydration and safe manual handling. Supporting social engagement, emotional wellbeing and meaningful activities. Working in accordance with individual care plans, organisational policies and the Aged Care Code of Conduct and NDIS Code of Conduct. What You’ll Bring Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing or equivalent) Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Commitment to comply with the Aged Care Code of Conduct Understanding of person-centered, right-based care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively Physical capacity to safely perform care duties Willingness to undertake mandatory training and ongoing professional development At least 2 years working in residential aged care.
