Deputy Principal This position arises due to the appointment of Mr Connor Barrett from Deputy Principal to the 13 th Principal of Townsville Grammar School, effective April 2026. Applications are now sought to appoint the next Deputy Principal (commencing Semester 2, 2026). This position requires a vastly experienced and highly capable educational leader to work alongside other members of the School's Senior Leadership Team. The role of Deputy Principal presents a unique opportunity for an accomplished leader to contribute to the ongoing strength, stability and future direction of a well-established and highly regarded independent school in its 138 th year of operation. The Role Reporting directly to the Principal, the Deputy Principal is responsible for the leadership and management of the School’s day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on the North Ward campus and oversight across the Annandale and North Shore campuses. This is a broad and influential role encompassing operational leadership, staff management, student oversight, and engagement with parents and the wider school community. The position also acts as a key advisor to the Principal and deputises as required.
