Senior Full Stack .NET Developer Contract until June 2027 Sydney CBD/Hybrid Daily rate: $1039 per day Primary purpose of the role The Senior Developer provides application design and full-stack development services to deliver reliable, flexible, scalable, and secure software applications that support organisational capabilities. Key accountabilities Design and develop custom applications and enhancements to support project and operational outcomes. Ensure all the quality of new code written meets the company’s IT development standards. Ensure all source code is checked in the company’s source code repository and documented appropriately. Critically assess and proactively address potential application quality issues, including through unit testing, code reviews. Collaborate and support with business analysts to translate business requirements into detailed feature requirements for implementation, deliver products that improve user experience, and positively impact business operations (both immediate and long-term). Collaborate with application and solution architects on architectural decisions. Produce and maintain the technical documentation. Mentor and coach other junior developers. Delivering software changes to meet immovable election deadlines while following technical standards and architectural directions to minimise technical debt. Ensuring the quality of all deliverables in a high-volume work environment, anticipating and handling potential problems and interdependencies to minimize errors and delays. Experience Extensive experience as a full-stack application developer within a full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Proven development experience using a Microsoft technology stack (eg, C#, .NET, .NET Core, MVC, Power Apps, Power BI ). Demonstrated front-end development experience using modern JavaScript frameworks. Experience in relational databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Oracle or Dataverse . Experience in coding web services, such as REST API, XML, JSON or Azure API Management . Experience in unit testing frameworks.
