About Your Role: As a Bid Writer, you will support the company's growth strategy by writing and coordinating compelling proposals that effectively showcase their expertise and secure valuable contracts. This position offers a fantastic entry point for individuals looking to develop their careers in bid writing and proposal development within a fast-paced sales environment. Training, guidance and industry knowledge will be provided if you are new to the facilities management sector. Key Responsibilities: Research and analyse bid documents to fully understand client requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for proposals. Write and edit tailored proposals that highlight the organisation's strengths and value. Ensure compliance with all bid requirements and deadlines. Refine proposal templates and content based on feedback and lessons learned during training sessions. Stay updated on industry trends to continuously enhance proposal quality. Your Skills and Attributes: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively. Tertiary qualification in any subject. Outstanding organisational skills and the capability to manage tight deadlines. Keen attention to detail, proficient in grammar, spelling, and formatting. A collaborative and resilient mindset to work effectively with various departments and teams. Strategic thinker who can identify critical differentiators in proposals. Previous experience in bid writing or proposal development is a plus, but not essential. A genuine temporary to permanent full-time opportunity. On a permanent basis, the salary will be circa $85,000 to $120,000 plus super depending on your skills/experience. You will be nurtured and developed to refine your knowledge of the FM sector and your writing skills. Remote working with flexible hours is available if desired.
