About the role This isn’t just another call centre role, it’s purpose-driven work that saves lives where you’ll be the first voice our clients hear in moments that matter, from medical emergencies to simple system checks. We have a full-time position available, with two shift structures available, both of which include permanent, on-site overnight shifts on Sundays and Mondays , where you'll: Answer incoming calls triggered by our clients’ medical and duress alarms Dispatch emergency services where required Provide reassurance and remain calm under pressure Follow clear protocols and accurate admin processes Troubleshoot and support for accidental and test alarm calls You'll be based in our Eagle Farm office, with hybrid work opportunities available for some shifts once trained. What we’re looking for A natural people person with empathy and a calm phone manner Strong resilience and ability to stay composed in emergencies High attention to detail Proven customer service experience Good computer skills and fast, accurate typing First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, team-focused, and looking for a stable, long-term role Hours of work The role is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week. There are two shift structures available, both of which include permanent, on-site overnight shifts on Sundays and Mondays. Shift structure option 1: 5 x 8-hour shifts, which include permanent, on-site overnight shifts on Sunday and Mondays, and three other shifts between Wednesday and Saturday. Depending on roster requirements, these could be during the day or overnight . Shift structure option 2: 4 x 10-hour shifts, which include permanent, on-site overnight shifts on Sunday and Mondays, and two other shifts between Wednesday and Saturday. Depending on roster requirements, these could be during the day or overnight. Afternoon, night and weekend shifts (penalty rates apply) Roster provided one month in advance Hybrid work available for some shifts for the right people, with the appropriate equipment, after training is successful.
