Seeking a doctor to train in first trimester surgical termination of pregnancy procedures and IUD insertions / removals under sedation at our GOSFORD centre. GCA (Gynaecology Centres Australia) have been providing f irst trimester surgical termination of pregnancy procedures (and IUD insertions / removals) at Gosford since 1998. For 28 years, we have trained many GP proceduralists to become proficient in performing these procedures at our surgi-centre at Gosford. We have other clinics in Newcastle, Hurstville (Sydney) and Wollongong. The procedures are performed under IV sedation (the sedation is provided by another doctor). Full support with nursing, medical and ancillary staff. Tuition includes all aspects of abortion care including consultations, ultrasound (transabdominal and transvaginal), the procedure, protocols, pre and post operative care. Applicants must have a non-restricted medicare provider number (eg. FRACGP or equivalent) or FRANZCOG.
