This is a full-time role where you will work across clinic, community, home and school environments as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. What You’ll Be Doing Deliver speech and language therapy across homes, schools, community settings and clinic Work closely with families to build communication capacity and achieve meaningful outcomes Develop and implement therapy plans with support and regular mentoring Collaborate with OTs, Intervention Teachers and Support Workers to provide holistic care Complete documentation and reports in line with NDIS requirements How We Support You Regular clinical supervision with experienced Speech Pathologists Joint visits and shadowing opportunities Structured onboarding with gradual caseload build Ongoing team mentoring with experienced clinicians Paid professional development opportunities Clear pathways into senior and leadership roles Essential Requirements Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership (or eligibility) Experience working in paediatrics and/or the disability sector Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) , or willingness to obtain Current NDIS Worker Screening Check , or willingness to obtain Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available for this role) Highly Regarded Experience working within the NDIS framework , including report writing and goal-based therapy Experience with early intervention and/or school-based supports Confidence in completing assessments and reports , including progress and end-of-plan reports Experience working within a multidisciplinary team Interest in or experience with the Key Worker Model About NSS Northern Star Supports (NSS) is a values-driven, family-focused allied health provider delivering Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Developmental Teaching, and Support Work across the Hunter region.
