As a Building Supervisor at JMB Waterproofing Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing waterproofing projects from preparation through to completion, coordinating trades, and ensuring all works meet Australian Standards and project specifications. Responsibilities and Tasks: Coordinating and supervising waterproofing works across multiple residential and commercial sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications and Australian Standards. Planning and scheduling site activities, including surface preparation, membrane application, curing times, and inspection stages to meet project deadlines. Supervising substrate preparation works such as cleaning, priming, and rectification to ensure surfaces are suitable for waterproofing applications. Overseeing installation of waterproofing systems including liquid membranes, sheet membranes, and sealants for wet areas, balconies, rooftops, and basements. Ensuring all waterproofing applications are carried out in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and NCC requirements. Coordinating subcontractors and trades to ensure seamless workflow and quality outcomes. Conducting site inspections and testing procedures (e.g., flood testing) to verify integrity and performance of waterproofing systems. Identifying and resolving on-site issues, defects, or non-compliance in a timely and effective manner. Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, compliance documentation, and defect registers. Liaising with builders, project managers, and clients to provide updates, manage expectations, and ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification. Minimum 1 year experience as a Building Supervisor Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems, materials, and application techniques. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders. Sound understanding of WHS regulations and Australian building standards. S alary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $95,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
