About the Role An exciting career opportunity exists for a Sous Chef to join their team in a full time position. The ideal candidate will have a wind range of preparation and cooking skills, be familiar with the operation of a busy kitchen, strong knowledge of produce, techniques, and the ability to prepare and execute beautiful dishes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Help planning and designing menus Preparing food items according to recipes and menus Maintain high standard of food presentation Management of stock ordering and rotation Ensuring all equipment is appropriately maintained and cleaned Ensuring the correct storage of food and ingredients Managing junior staff members Promote Health and Safety at all times Minimize wastage/ spoilage. Daily checks of all mis en place to ensure freshness & quality standards.
