About the role We are looking for a full-time Advanced Skills Medical Administrator to join our team in the Gold Coast Region. About you Practice Administration: Deliver advanced level practice administrative services in accordance with; prescribed professional and ethical standards, the established practice and company-wide clinical protocols and policies and the rostering and service delivery requirements of the practice. Demonstrate and promote by example, a high level of patient care, compassion and awareness. Demonstrate a high level of responsibility, accountability and initiative across all aspects of administrative practice and promote a culture of service excellence. Apply advanced judgement and decision making to complex scenarios, under guidance of a senior member of staff. Utilise advanced level skills, knowledge, experience and leadership to manage, prioritise and organise a comprehensive practice administration workload Communication/Team Participation: Work cooperatively and effectively within the team and actively promote a collegiate approach to problem solving and patient care in a positive work environment. Provide advanced level administrative advice and direction to patients and other health care professionals. Develop advanced level administrative expertise by actively engaging in learning within the team and in development activities. Leadership: Monitor and report on administrative outcomes and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement within area of expertise. Participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the service delivery in line with recognised organisational pathways. Provide education, competency training and mentorship to promote skill development in other members of the team. Where required, be able to perform higher duties during periods of absence of a relevant supervisor. Safety and Quality: Apply to administrative practices, the standards set by the mandatory Queensland X-ray quality and safety training modules and policies. Promote, by example, responsibility and accountability for a clean and safe work environment. Report equipment faults and issues to appropriate supervisors and manage repairs as required.
