Epic is seeking an Associate Ecologist to join our Ecology team, working out of our thriving Brisbane office. This role is offered as a parental leave cover, with the potential for ongoing employment following the incumbent’s return, and will see you responsible for a full range of activities including: Successfully managing projects that are within budget and delivered on time Representing clients and facilitating external meetings Delivering well written reports Mentoring junior team members Presenting and/or attending seminars, conferences and workshops Your Expertise and Skills These requirements reflect the experience and skills that support success in this role. 10 years relevant consulting experience in planning and delivering ecological studies for the resources and infrastructure sectors of Queensland Tertiary qualification from a recognised institute in Ecology/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Management or similar disciplines In depth understanding of relevant statutory requirements including under the EP Act (QLD), Offsets Act (QLD, VM Act (QLD), NC Act (QLD, and EPBC Act (Cth) We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
