Our Role: Role Overview The Health Safety Environmental Administrative Specialist supports the site leadership team in maintaining health, safety and environmental compliance across the site. The role helps ensure that safety systems, reporting and documentation are maintained in line with Graymont policies and regulatory requirements. The position works closely with site leadership and the regional HSE team to support the implementation of company safety and environmental priorities and continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, the role provides site administration support to assist with the day-to-day running of the site office. Key Responsibilities: Safety & Environmental Compliance Support (Primary Focus) Support implementation of site health, safety and environmental systems in line with Graymont and regulatory requirements. Assist with incident reporting, investigations and tracking corrective actions. Maintain safety and environmental registers, records and compliance documentation. Assist with safety risk assessments, hazard identification and implementation of controls. Support site safety inspections, audits and follow-up actions. Coordinate updates to safety procedures and controlled documents. Maintain environmental permits, licences and compliance documentation. Support preparation of environmental reports and statutory reporting. Assist in responding to environmental complaints or issues and tracking corrective actions. Assist with environmental monitoring activities such as dust, noise and water monitoring as required. Site Administration Support Greet visitors and contractors and ensure site sign-in procedures are followed. Ensure visitors and contractors have completed safety inductions and meet PPE requirements before accessing site. Perform general reception and administrative duties including answering phone calls and managing correspondence. Assist with document control, record keeping and archiving. Support meeting coordination and documentation for the site leadership team. Assist with weighbridge and dispatch administration when required. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier deliveries. Skills & Experience Qualification in Workplace Health & Safety, Environmental Management or related field or relevant experience. Experience in safety coordination, compliance support or administrative roles. Good understanding of workplace health, safety and environmental requirements. Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail. Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
