With strong client relationships across both public and private sectors, the business is entering a critical phase of growth About the role As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in shaping the next stage of the growth of the business. Working directly with leadership, you will drive project acquisition across key sectors, taking ownership of both estimating and the early-stage commercial strategy behind each bid. This role is a terrific mix of Senior Estimating, Big Strategy and business development. Key Responsibilities for the role Leading end-to-end estimating across civil, substations, renewables, telecommunications towers, and greenfield projects Actively identifying and pursuing new project opportunities through market engagement and industry networks Preparing accurate, commercially competitive tenders and submissions Managing subcontractor and supplier engagement to strengthen pricing and delivery outcomes Review drawings, specifications, scopes and contract documentation in detail Conduct site inspections and assess project risks and opportunities Identify value engineering opportunities to strengthen bids Work closely with leadership on bid strategy and project selection Contribute to business development, including client engagement and pipeline growth Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders Support project handover and provide ongoing commercial insight during delivery Skills & experience Experience as a Senior Estimator and wants a role with more influence than what a traditional estimating role offers Strong experience with civil infrastructure, renewables , substations or telecommunication projects A professional who knows how to win work- not just price it Be commercially driven, confident with engaging clients and comfortable operating at a senior level Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills High attention to detail with excellent analytical ability Be a self-starter who can operate autonomously and take ownership of outcomes * Has an existing network across contractors, developers or asset owners highly desirable Benefits: A role that blends estimating, strategy and business development.
