Job description Role : Production/Fork Operator - Pet Food Manufacturing Location : Beresfield (Onsite) About the Role Our client is a global leader in pet food manufacturing and is seeking Production Operators to join their Beresfield site. This is a hands on role suited to candidates with experience in meat processing, abattoirs, rendering, or food production , who are comfortable handling raw and frozen animal products . Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the production and processing of raw materials Handling frozen and chilled meat products , including off‑cuts and by‑products Breaking down frozen raw materials for processing Operating basic production equipment Packaging finished product to quality and safety standards Loading and unloading trucks (forklift operation) Completing basic production and safety paperwork Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Skills and Experience Valid forklift licence (essential) Previous experience in meat processing, abattoirs, rendering plants, or food manufacturing Comfort handling raw meat, offal, and frozen animal products Basic computer skills for paperwork Strong attention to safety and hygiene Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks Ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team Willing to work on a 2‑week rotating roster If this sounds like a role you'd be comfortable in and you meet the above requirements, apply now - we'd love to hear from you.
