This is a full-time, Brisbane-based role for a Frontend Web Developer, requiring on-site work in the office each day. We're looking for a proactive developer who thrives in a small, fast-paced SaaS environment and takes full ownership of their work from start to finish. You'll be a collaborative team player, confident working across both design and development to deliver high-quality outcomes. Duties and Responsibilities : Designing, developing and maintaining web-based applications and features across Avenue's SaaS platform Building and maintaining frontend interfaces using Next.js and modern UI library framework Working closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into accurate, high-quality frontend implementations Interpreting and communicating design requirements clearly, raising questions and flagging technical constraints early in the process Writing clean, well-tested code and participating in code reviews Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving technical issues across live systems Maintaining and improving existing web features through iterative development Contributing to technical discussions and documenting code and specifications Applicants must have : Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field Minimum 1 year experience in web development Proficiency in TypeScript, React and Next.js Proficiency in working with Figma, able to inspect designs, extract tokens, and translate specifications into pixel-accurate UI Demonstrated experience collaborating directly with UI/UX designers, with strong communication skills to bridge design intent and technical implementation Solid understanding of responsive design, component architecture and accessibility best practices Strong problem-solving and communication skills Benefits : Company laptop provided Office provided Ongoing employment opportunity A salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
