EM Medical is looking for an experienced, friendly and hard-working part-time or full time GP/primary care nurse. EM Medical is a boutique GP practice with four wonderful female locally trained GPs. The practice has a focus on holisitic, individualised medicine and delivers high-quality health care. The GPs have a special interest in women's health and dermatology. You will need to deliver efficient, high quality care and be able to work closely with the GPs as well as work independently. The role requires; - Proficiency in computer skills and record keeping (experience with Best Practice would be advantageous) - Manage a fully functional treatment room including reviewing/ordering stock, cold chain maintenance and equipment care - Immunisation experience - travel medicine is also preferred but is not required - Assistance with minor surgery - General medical care including INR checks, wound care and dressings - Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in improving patient care - Blood collection - we have Clinical Labs Pathology - happy to provide training for this - Accreditation experience - quality insurance programs - DVA experience - CVC program I am open to providing training for any of the above requirements for the right applicant. Requirements also include tertiary qualifications, current AHPRA registration and significant nursing experience preferably in a general practice setting. The hours and days of the position are negotiable. We are looking for two practice nurses to cover 5 days per week 8am - 6pm.
