Senior HVAC Technician – Leadership Pathway Commercial Service & Projects | Career Progression Opportunity Are you a technically strong HVAC professional with solid commercial experience and ambitions to step into leadership? We’re seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join a growing service team. This is more than a standard service role — it’s a genuine leadership pathway for someone who understands the wider HVAC industry, enjoys client engagement, and wants to play a part in growing a business. You’ll work closely with the Service Manager, contribute to project and service delivery, support business development, and, once established, progress to running your own team. The Role Service, maintain, diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems Monitor, fault-find and optimise plant performance via BMC/BMS systems Handle and manage refrigerants in line with regulations and best practice Operate, maintain and troubleshoot cooling towers (including water treatment awareness) Support delivery of medium to large HVAC installation projects Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers Assist the Service Manager with: Technical support and job planning Improving service processes and standards Identifying and developing new client and project opportunities Leverage industry connections to help grow the service portfolio Mentor junior technicians and apprentices Progress into running your own team What We’re Looking For Strong hands-on background in commercial HVAC service Proven experience with: BMC / BMS systems Refrigerant handling and diagnostics Cooling tower systems General mechanical service work Experience delivering or supporting medium to large HVAC installation projects Established industry connections that can help open doors to new work Strong understanding of compliance, safety and quality standards Confident communicator with a client-focused mindset Clear ambition to grow into a leadership role Why This Role?
