Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking multiple dedicated and motivated Labourers to join our Program/Reactive Sewer Maintenance, and Program/Reactive Water Maintenance. In this role, you'll assist with a variety of tasks related to sewer maintenance and gain hands-on experience with plant, tools, and equipment. No prior experience? No problem! We offer on-the-job training to help you succeed. What We're Looking For: Driver’s Licence : Current ‘MR’ Class Driver’s Licence or must obtain within 6 months of commencement. WHS Competency : Hold a White Card (CPCWHS1001) for working safely in the construction industry or be willing to obtain one prior to starting. Experience : Labourer experience within the water industry is desirable but not required—on-the-job training will be provided. What We Offer: Permanent Full-Time : Based at the Charlton Depot. Work Hours : Regular hours from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a 9-day fortnight (one rostered day off every two weeks). Competitive Salary : Fortnightly base rate of $2,423.70 gross, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation. Additional Benefits : Variable allowances, on-call, overtime and penalty rates, wet weather allowance, and live sewer allowance.
