Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and guest requests - Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest quality standards - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and hygiene regulations - Manage inventory and ordering of food supplies - Train and supervise junior kitchen staff - Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials - Monitor and control food costs and waste - Adhere to all health and safety regulations - Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times Requirements: - Minimum of 12 months experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen - Certificate IV in commercial cookery - Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks - Strong communication and leadership skills - Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation - Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as required - A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $75,000 to $80,000 per year, plus superannuation.
