Chef Responsibilities: Plan and design creative and mouth-watering menus that highlight the best of Indian cuisine. Estimate food and labor costs, and place orders for supplies to keep our kitchen running smoothly. Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation at all stages of the cooking process. Collaborate with Managers and kitchen staff to resolve food preparation issues and maintain efficiency. Lead and mentor kitchen staff, sharing cooking techniques and advice to enhance team skills. Maintain hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen at all times. Train and motivate kitchen staff to produce exceptional dishes while upholding our high standards. Oversee food preservation and freezing methods to minimize waste and maintain stock levels. What We’re Looking For: Experience: At least 1–2 years as a chef in a busy kitchen or catering environment. Qualification: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and a Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent. Skills: Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Leadership: Confidence in supervising and guiding a team. Passion: A genuine love for cooking and delivering outstanding food experiences.
