About the role Urology SA is seeking a dedicated casual Nurse to join our busy, patient-focused team in North Adelaide. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting our urologists and providing high-quality patient care within our specialist medical practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working in a specialised clinical environment. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients across a range of urological conditions. You'll work closely with our urologists and administrative team to ensure smooth clinical operations and outstanding patient experiences. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical nursing support for consultations Perform catheter changes, bladder scans, uroflowmetry and urodynamic studies, and wound care Assist with minor procedures and patient preparation Conduct patient education relating to urological health and post-procedure care Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold infection-control standards Collaborate with clinicians and team members to ensure efficient patient flow What we're looking for AHPRA-registered RN (mandatory) Previous experience in urology or similar specialty highly desirable, but not essential Strong clinical assessment skills Excellent communication and patient-engagement abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and quality care Experience using Genie medical software and other technology to support patient care advantageous but not essential Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required What we offer At Urology SA, we are committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment for our employees.
