About the role: •Assisting Gps with minor procedures and assessments •Completing Chronic Disease Management plans and care plan support •ECG's, wound care and immunisations •Monitoring recalls and maintaining accurate medical records •Providing patient education on self-care, disease management and preventative health measures. •Stock management and infection control processes •Participating in accreditation procedure and documentation as well as health audits, training and continuous improvement activities. About the practice: We are seeking a motivated and passionate Registered Nurse to join our friendly and collaborative team in a well-established GP clinic in Hornsby. We are looking for a part time/casual position (Wednesdy-Friday). Our clinic is different form many practices - we work as a true team, where nurses, reception, Practice Manager, Gps and Principal GP collaborate closely to deliver high-quality patient care. Nurses are valued members of our clinical team and are supported in developing their skills and working to their full scope. Candidate requirements: •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach •Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. •Sound Clinical knowledge and ability to provide safe and effective nursing care •A team player with a 'can-do' attitude and pro-active ability to learn new things quickly •A commitment to continuous PD and staying up to date with •Availability Wednesday to Friday (with possibility to expand) •AHPRA registration and Immunisation certificate •Proficiency in using electronic medical records (Best Practice) Benefits: Working as part of a collaborative team - NO CORPORATE STRUCTURE and on site support form another nurse, practice principal and practice manager.
