Job description Counterbalance Forklift Operator - Linehaul Loading/Unloading Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will need: Counterbalance Experience (Linehaul Loading/Unloading) Strong experience loading and unloading Linehaul vehicles Experience handling rotors and heavy freight using a counterbalance forklift Minimum 2 years' experience in transport or warehouse operations High safety awareness and commitment to OHS Ability to follow Chain of Responsibility requirements Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions Capability to supervise a small team when needed Job Tasks and Responsibilities Forklift Operation (Primary Focus) Complete pre?start checks before operating the forklift Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and confidently Load and unload Linehaul trucks and trailers Handle and move rotors and oversized freight safely Blend loads effectively to maximise load efficiency Ensure loads comply with requirements, including correct load restraint Unload and load freight with zero damage and within set time limits Freight Handling & Documentation Scan, match, sort, and place freight in correct locations Ensure all freight is checked, weighed, and cubed (CWC) correctly Ensure paperwork is complete and correct Match connotes and freight (no miss?sorting or miss?loads) Report any damages, shortages, split consignments, or issues promptly Yard, Equipment & Housekeeping Keep pallets, dunnage, and load restraint equipment organised Record dunnage as required Maintain a clean and tidy yard and work area Safety & Teamwork Work toward zero near?miss incidents or accidents Build strong working relationships across the business Support team goals and work effectively with others Suggest improvements to processes and help implement changes Perform any other reasonable tasks given by your manager Zwonaka Netselo Delivery Consultant [Industrial] ManpowerGroup is committed to being a Diversity Confident Recruiter and encourages applications from people from a diverse range of backgrounds, including people with a disability.
