You will provide trusted, objective insurance risk advice that balances protection with value creation, enabling Toll to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage and deliver on its strategic objectives. Leveraging your commercial acumen and deep insurance expertise, you will confidently engage with senior leaders, challenge the status quo and build strong relationships across diverse teams. Known for your curiosity, independent thinking and professional judgement, you will help uplift governance, risk management and control maturity, while delivering innovative, fit‑for‑purpose insurance solutions that support the business now and into the future. Key Responsibilities: Global Insurance Program Expertise: Deep understanding of Toll’s global insurance program (excluding employee benefits), with the ability to partner with HR as required during renewals without decision‑making accountability . Global Renewal Leadership & Execution: End‑to‑end leadership of annual global insurance renewals, including market presentations, training, data acquisition and auditing, KYC, compliance with multinational programs, budgeting support, post‑renewal recharge and duplication reviews. Process Optimisation & Technology Enablement: Strong capability in establishing efficient, streamlined renewal and policy processes, leveraging technology and AI to improve data quality, compliance and overall effectiveness. Contract & Risk Review Capability: Proven experience reviewing customer and supplier contract terms for insurance compliance and assessing overall risk exposure to Toll. Policy & Network Management: Comprehensive policy management skills, including maintaining global and local policies, endorsements, Certificates of Currency, agent network support, and local policy registers. Insurance Reporting & Risk Oversight: Strong reporting capability, coordinating high‑risk insurance matters and delivering clear claims and insurance metrics for monthly reporting and Audit & Risk Committee updates. To be successful in this role, you will have: Global & Technical Insurance Expertise: Deep understanding of multinational and local insurance programs, insurance market dynamics, and detailed policy wordings to provide accurate technical advice across classes of insurance. Data, Audit & Analytical Capability: Strong capability in acquiring, auditing and managing complex insurance data sets to support renewals, compliance and informed decision‑making. Compliance & Regulatory Acumen: Solid knowledge of KYC requirements, Certificates of Currency and cross‑jurisdictional regulatory obligations, with high attention to detail in policy and endorsement management. Financial & Commercial Acumen: Experience managing post‑renewal recharges, invoice payments and insurance‑related financial documentation, supporting effective budget and cost control. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Highly effective interpersonal and coordination skills, with the ability to liaise across Group Insurance, Finance and external brokers, and to deliver clear in‑house insurance training . Professional Insurance Qualification: Holds, or is working towards, a recognised professional insurance or risk management certification such as ANZIIF, CIP, ARM or equivalent. What moves you?
