Employer Bio: This opportunity sits within a growing, multi-site allied health business based in the Geelong region, with an established team and a strong reputation for clinical care and day-to-day service delivery. The business operates with a deliberately hands-on, team-oriented approach, where clinicians and support staff work closely together and there is very little separation between “front” and “back” of house. This has shaped a culture that is practical, low-ego and quietly accountable, with an emphasis on doing things well and continually improving how the business operates. The organisation is now at a point where continued growth is less about adding more activity, and more about introducing greater structure, coordination and consistency across what already exists. The Job: A Senior Practice Manager is sought to step into a central operational role within the business, bringing greater coordination, follow-through and day-to-day oversight across multiple clinic locations. This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the centre of how a business runs. You will take ownership of the operational rhythm across the clinics, working across rostering, team support, systems, workflow, compliance and general coordination, ensuring that people, priorities and processes stay aligned and that nothing falls between the gaps. Your days will be varied and often non-linear, moving between supporting clinicians, resolving operational issues, coordinating schedules, managing administrative processes, and working alongside leadership to keep the business running smoothly. It is a role that requires judgement, organisation and the ability to prioritise in real time, rather than simply working through a fixed list of tasks. Importantly, this is not a heavily layered or corporate environment. You will be working closely with a small, established team in a setting where relationships are strong and communication is direct. The role carries a level of ownership, but remains grounded in the day-to-day – it is about staying close to the detail while lifting the overall level of consistency and structure. Why You Should Apply: There is a particular point in a business where bringing in the right operational person can change the experience of everyone around them. This opportunity sits squarely at that point. It offers the chance to step into a role where you can make a genuine, visible impact on how the business runs, without inheriting unnecessary layers, politics or over-engineered systems. It will suit someone who enjoys being relied on, who takes quiet pride in things running well, and who is comfortable working across people, process and operations without needing a rigid structure around them. You’ll also be joining a business where expectations are clear, the environment is grounded, and there is a strong sense of shared responsibility across the team. Culture Snapshot: The culture is collegiate, practical and low-ego. There is a strong sense of shared ownership, with clinicians and support staff working closely together and a natural willingness to step in and support each other where needed. There is an emphasis on doing things well, taking care of clients and colleagues, and continually looking for ways to improve. While the environment is relaxed in style, there is a clear expectation around accountability, consistency and follow-through. Benefits On Offer: Along with stepping into a central and highly valued role within a growing healthcare business, benefits include a competitive salary aligned to the scope of the position, direct exposure to leadership and visibility across how the business operates, and the opportunity to help shape how the organisation runs as it continues to evolve. The role offers variety across people, operations and systems, rather than a narrowly defined function, along with flexibility and trust in how you manage your day within a clinic-based environment. The business also maintains a strong connection to the local community, including an annual $500 contribution per team member to support a community organisation or cause of their choice. There is also longer-term scope for the role to grow alongside the business as it continues to develop. Skills Required: To succeed in this role, you will bring experience in practice management, operations coordination or a similar position within a service-based environment, along with the ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing sight of the detail. You will also require: – Experience working in a clinic, healthcare or service-based environment – Strong organisational capability and the ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic setting – Confidence working across people, systems and administrative processes simultaneously – Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels of a business – A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong sense of accountability – Sound commercial awareness and familiarity with financial processes such as payroll, invoicing or Xero – The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team How To Be Considered: To apply, follow the links or email with your CV.
