About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a residential aged care home in a part-time capacity. This role is ideally suited to a confident clinician who thrives in a leadership capacity and is comfortable taking on responsibility during after-hours shifts. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while acting as the Registered Nurse in Charge (RNIC) during PM and Night Duty shifts. With support from a dedicated team of Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants, you will ensure clinical excellence, resident safety, and continuity of care. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse looking for flexibility, autonomy, and strong remuneration, while still being supported by an experienced care team. Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care in line with best practice standards. Act as RN in Charge (RNIC) during PM and Night shifts. Oversee and support care staff, ensuring effective delegation and supervision. Monitor resident health and respond to clinical changes appropriately. Administer medications and manage clinical documentation accurately. Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team . Key Requirements: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration. Minimum 2 years’ experience in aged care – essential. Confidence working as RNIC, particularly during PM and Night shifts. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Ability to lead and support care staff in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work a range of shifts and pick up additional hours when required. In Return: $71.61/hr Super $73.12 night shift allowance. Flexible part-time roster (5 shifts per fortnight). Opportunity to take on leadership responsibility within a supportive team.
