Senior Practitioner - Ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality therapeutic support services to children, young people and non-perpetrating adults who have experienced or are at risk of sexual abuse or sexual violence, and children and young people who are engaging in inappropriate or harmful sexual behaviours. Our team achieves this through the provision of individual counselling and support, parent support, family interventions and group programs. The Senior Practitioner will also work within our team to develop and deliver prevention and education initiatives to increase awareness, challenge all forms of sexual violence, and create a safer and more trauma informed community. Additionally the role includes counselling and practice supervision of our staff. Sexual Assault Counsellor - Provide therapeutic case management and counselling to children, young people, adults, families and/or carers in the area of sexual assault and abuse, historic sexual assault, child sexual assault and inappropriate and/or harmful sexual behaviours. Provision of individual counselling and support as negotiated with Service Users, using a flexible approach that may integrate therapeutic work, advocacy, psycho education, protective behaviours and safety planning.
