Key Responsibilities: Operate HR waste collection trucks across Brisbane metro areas Complete commercial waste and skip bin collections Rear lift or front lift operation (depending on allocation) Conduct thorough pre-start and post-start safety checks Comply with NHVR driving hours and fatigue management Manual handling, including pushing and pulling bins Maintain professional conduct when interacting with the public and stakeholders About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Valid HR licence with a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role Previous waste industry experience highly regarded Rear lift truck experience strongly preferred Proven commitment to road safety and safe work practices Ability to perform physical duties and work long night shifts Multidrop experience operating large vehicles Brisbane / South-East QLD route knowledge advantageous A professional, reliable attitude with strong work ethic Pre-Employment Requirements Successful applicants must complete: Full driver pre-employment medical Drug & alcohol testing Driver history report Police check HEPA & HEPB vaccinations Q-Fever vaccination Culture & Expectations This is a high-performance, safety-driven site with strong expectations around reliability, professionalism, and work quality.
