Duties will include: Workshop maintenance - servicing, repairs, component change-outs Preventative and scheduled maintenance Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic & electrical systems Field service work (once competent) - breakdowns and on-site support Equipment: UG mining trucks, loaders (boggers), drills, ITs, charge-up equipment, spray rigs The Roster 7 days on / 7 days off / 7 nights on / 7 days off Wednesday to Tuesday rotation 12-hour shifts Your Value This role is ideal for someone looking to step into mining from a background in mobile plant. You'll bring: Trade qualification (Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic) Experience working on mobile plant equipment (essential) Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrics and mechanical systems Background in heavy vehicles, earthmoving, agriculture or similar A genuine interest in moving into the mining industry Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work both autonomously and in a team The Opportunity Perfect for those looking to get a foot in the door in mining, with full training and support provided.
